A London photographer, across every kind of shoot

I'm TJ. I photograph portraits, events, fashion, cars, sport and carnival across all of Greater London, and street photography for myself. It's one photographer rather than an agency — the person you speak to is the person who turns up and the person who edits your photos.

Most people arrive with the same worry, which is that they won't know what to do in front of a camera. That's genuinely not your problem to solve. I direct throughout, whether it's one person or a room of two hundred, and the job is to make it feel like nothing much is happening while getting everything that needs getting.

What I shoot

• Portrait photography — headshots, personal branding and creative portraits, directed from start to finish.
• Event photography — parties, launches and corporate evenings, shot discreetly in available light.
• Fashion and editorial — lookbooks, campaigns and model portfolios, with usage agreed before the shoot.
• Car and automotive — private owners, dealer listings and meets, always timed around the light.
• Sports photography — matches, training and athlete promo, including difficult indoor and floodlit conditions.
• Carnival — Notting Hill and London's carnival culture, shot on the road with the bands.
• Street photography — the ongoing personal series the rest of the work grew out of.

Where I work and what it costs

All of Greater London as standard — central, north, south, east and west — plus travel beyond the M25, which is factored into a quote up front rather than added afterwards.

There are no fixed packages, because they mean half of clients pay for hours they don't need. Four things set the price: how many hours you need me, how far I'm travelling, how fast you want the images, and whether a business is using them commercially. The pricing page explains each one properly so you can judge a quote before you get it.

Standard turnaround is a full edited gallery within five to seven days, in both print and web sizes. If you have a deadline, say so at booking and a selection can come back faster.
