TJMONEYY MEDIA · London
TJMONEYY MEDIA is me — TJ, a photographer based in London. I shoot portraits, events, fashion, cars, sport and carnival across Greater London, and street photography for myself. If you're deciding whether to hire me, this page is the honest version of how I work.
I started with street photography, which is the hardest and cheapest school there is. Nobody is posing, the light does what it wants, and there's no second take. You learn to read a scene in a second, anticipate a moment before it happens, and get exposure right without thinking about it — because if you're thinking about it, you've missed it.
Everything that makes the commissioned work function came from there. Moving through a busy room without becoming the centre of attention, catching a reaction as it lands rather than after it, working in bad light without complaining about the light — all of it was learned on the street first.
Portraits — headshots, personal branding and creative work, directed throughout so you don't have to know how to pose.
Events — private parties, launches and corporate evenings, shot discreetly in available light rather than with a flash in everyone's face.
Fashion and editorial — lookbooks, campaigns and model portfolios, with usage rights agreed before the shoot rather than argued about after it.
Cars — private owners and dealer listing work, always timed around the light.
Sport — matches, training and athlete promo, including the difficult indoor and floodlit conditions.
Carnival — Notting Hill and London's carnival culture, shot on the road with the bands rather than from behind a barrier.
Street — the ongoing personal series the rest of the work grew out of, shot for myself rather than for a client.
There's a conversation before every shoot. Not a form — an actual conversation about what the photos are for, where they'll be used, and what would make the shoot a success for you. Most problems on a shoot day are problems that could have been solved in that conversation.
On the day I direct continuously. Whether it's one person in front of a camera or a room of two hundred, my job is to make it feel like nothing much is happening while getting everything that needs getting.
Afterwards you get an edited gallery, normally within five to seven days, in both print and web sizes. No unedited dumps, no watermarks on delivered work, no chasing.
All of Greater London as standard — central, north, south, east and west — and I travel beyond the M25 regularly. I'm not based in one borough and reluctant to leave it. Travel is factored into a quote up front rather than added afterwards.
If you're outside London and the job is right, ask. It's a conversation, not a policy.
I also build apps. I run The It Group as its CEO, and four of them are out now. There is Pixit for booking a verified photographer near you on demand, Gift It for keeping every occasion and gift idea in one place, Binit for getting your email address off the lists holding it, and Gearit for working out which part of a camera setup is holding the pictures back.
They came out of the photography rather than alongside it. Finding someone real at short notice, remembering the occasions that matter to people, keeping an inbox under control — those are ordinary problems first. The apps page goes through each one and what it does.
TJMONEYY MEDIA is TJ, a photographer based in London working across portraits, events, fashion, cars, sport, carnival and street photography. It's one photographer rather than an agency, which means the person you speak to is the person who shows up and the person who edits your photos.
All of Greater London, plus travel beyond the M25. There's no borough I won't come to — travel time is simply reflected in the quote for locations further out.
Yes. Roughly half the work is commercial — brands, dealers, clubs and event organisers — and half is private clients. The process is the same; commercial work adds a usage licence to the quote.
Everything on this site is my own work, organised by category. The portfolio pages are the full galleries rather than a curated handful, and Instagram has the most recent shoots.
Call or message with what you're shooting, where, roughly how long, and where the images will be used. You'll get a firm quote back rather than a range, and if the date is free we can hold it straight away.
